The Sandusky area is one of the most enchanting places to visit during the summer. Located on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie, the area offers a wide variety of choices for entertainment. For instance, you can easily find yourself in the world’s biggest and best amusement parks – Cedar Point and Kalahari Resort. In addition, there are a number of fine restaurants as well as significant historical sites.

InternationalFestival for Strings & More is a program designed to promote excellence in musical training to students interested in learning more about their instruments. One of the main goals is to provide maximal amount of instruction needed to prepare for solo work performances as well as chamber music. The final result, being performances at recitals, has proven to be the most beneficial endeavor for the students as well as everyone else involved in the preparation.

This program provides invaluable musical experience to the community as well. Most concerts are free of charge or at a very low admission charge. At the same time, it gives the opportunity to see and hear the finest performances of both students and faculty.

It is my sincere hope that everyone enjoys this wonderful musical experience. Its miraculous powers can be realized on many different levels: through the genuine interaction with it; by observing the growth of each student with it; and so much more.

Room and Board options:

a) Families who wish to spend the week in Sandusky may book a room in the area. We will be happy to make arrangements for you if you let us know in advance.

c) Lunch will be provided at Zion Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm daily. For meals at all other times there is a wide selection of restaurants available in the area.
